Refund Policy (Global – Enterprise Compliance Framework)

Cameralux is a digital platform that connects users with independent content creators (“Models”) for live and on-demand experiences. Cameralux does not create content itself but provides access to services offered by independent third parties.

All services are delivered digitally, instantly accessible, and highly subjective in nature. Because of this, transactions are generally final and non-refundable, except under certain conditions outlined in this Policy or as required by relevant law.

1. Nature of Services and Platform Boundaries

Users explicitly acknowledge that:

  • All services are delivered in real-time or immediate digital format
  • Models work independently and are not employees of Cameralux
  • Cameralux does not oversee, control, or guarantee the conduct of Models
  • Experiences vary based on user expectations and Model interaction

Given this setup, Cameralux cannot promise specific results, satisfaction, or consistency.

Personal dissatisfaction, including unmet expectations or subjective preferences, does not qualify for a refund.

2. General Criteria for Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be issued in objectively verifiable cases.

Qualifying situations include:

  • Technical failure at the platform level preventing service access
  • System errors causing incorrect deduction of tokens
  • Documented failure of a Model to deliver an agreed-upon service

All claims require evidence and are subject to internal review.

3. Specific Service Scenarios

Refund eligibility is assessed based on real-use cases:

  • Connection Interruptions: Partial refunds may be given if caused by Cameralux’s infrastructure
  • User Network Issues: No refund if the problem is from user’s device or internet
  • Model Disconnections: Evaluated according to session length and context
  • Partial Sessions: Partial refund proportional to unused time
  • Interactive Disputes: No refunds for subjective disagreements

4. Payment Processing Situations

These payment-related issues are covered:

  • Duplicate Charges: Full refund possible after verification
  • Pending Transactions: May resolve automatically depending on the payment provider
  • Authorization vs Capture: Temporary holds are not actual charges
  • Delayed Settlements: Dependent on payment processor timelines

Cameralux is not liable for delays or errors caused by banks or payment institutions.

5. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be made within 72 hours (3 days) of the original transaction.

Requests need to include enough detail for thorough investigation.

Send claims via:

Contact Form

Late requests may be denied.

6. How Refunds Are Calculated

Approved refunds are based on:

  • Time spent in session
  • Tokens used
  • Service availability

Refund types include:

  • Full refund (rare)
  • Partial refund (pro rata)
  • Platform credit

Cameralux retains full discretion in deciding compensation.

7. Subscriptions and Recurring Payments

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in time.

Users are responsible for:

  • Managing their subscription settings
  • Canceling before the next billing cycle

Refunds will not be given for:

  • Unused subscription periods
  • Missed cancellations
  • Partially consumed services

8. Transactions That Are Non-Refundable

  • Completed live sessions
  • Recorded shows and premium content
  • Partially used token bundles
  • Cryptocurrency payments

9. Chargebacks and Fraud Prevention

Chargebacks or actions that block payments are deemed fraudulent.

Examples include:

  • Contesting valid charges after use
  • Repeated refund abuse
  • Unauthorized claims following participation

Consequences include:

  • Immediate account termination
  • Permanent ban
  • Recovery of financial losses
  • Reporting to payment processors and authorities

Users are liable for:

  • Chargeback fees
  • Administrative costs
  • Investigation expenses

10. Refund Requests Through Banks

Initiating disputes via banks without first contacting Cameralux may result in account suspension.

Users should try to resolve issues directly with Cameralux Support first.

11. Consumer Rights by Jurisdiction

This Policy does not override mandatory consumer protections.

Where local laws apply, they take precedence.

12. European Union and United Kingdom

By purchasing digital services:

  • Users agree that services are executed immediately
  • Users waive withdrawal rights once service starts

13. Brazil

The 7-day cooling-off period applies only before service use.

Once service is accessed, this right may no longer be valid.

14. New Zealand

Refund policies comply with local consumer laws.

Due to the digital nature, refunds remain limited.

15. Fraud Detection and Risk Management

Cameralux employs advanced tools to spot abuse:

  • Behavioural analysis
  • Transaction monitoring
  • Risk scoring

Suspicious activity can lead to restrictions or account closure.

16. Limitation of Liability

Cameralux is not liable for:

  • User dissatisfaction
  • Model conduct
  • Technical disruptions
  • Issues with external payments

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the transaction.

17. Indemnity

Users agree to hold Cameralux harmless from any claims or damages resulting from misuse or breach of terms.

18. Final Statement

Cameralux upholds a firm but fair refund policy balancing user protection with fraud prevention.

By using the Platform, you agree to this Refund Policy.

Important: Models are under no obligation to satisfy every user request.
